New Training Opportunity in Indy

Electrical Commissioning and Inspections:

Need an Electrical Inspector for your school system or facility? Not sure the electrical system was installed to your specifications? Mike Fox has an extensive Electrical Inspection background through his 17 years as the Electric Foreman for the Indianapolis Public Schools. Chances are if you are renovating or building a new facility the electrical system may not be what you would expect. If you have a qualified electrical inspector on your staff, problems can be found early and easily corrected. Oftentimes local inspectors are unfamiliar with complex electrical systems.

Ask Mike Fox, he has inspected systems that were far from NEC compliance that had a local inspector’s final inspection tag on the electrical service equipment. Don’t depend on the design group to fully inspect your building either. Often times they don’t perform “rough in” inspections to see if the NEC is being complied with. Many electrical engineers are not familiar with the NEC or proper installation of electrical equipment. This can be disastrous as the project is in the final phases.
